Since the founding of the art facility in 2003, Port Art has hosted both an intern program and a volunteer
program.
VOLUNTEER PROGRAM - Studio/gallery assistants join the volunteer team for varying reasons. No industry
experience is necessary, but a passion for art is a must. The kinds of responsibilities vary and include
assisting in the art studios, gallery sitting, client relations, maintenance and care of art, assistance with
administrative tasks.
Benefits include an in-kind utilisation of the art studios and learning programs , access to wholesale art
and framing materials, a stimulating and creative environment.
