Pet Portrait Commissions
PET PORTRAIT COMMISSIONS
If you are wanting a painting of your pet, animal portrait commissions are available through a few artists of the Port Art Collective. Being pet owners and animal lovers, it is a passion that they continue to work on, in spite of being known for some completely different series of artworks. Some have wait lists due to the limit to the number they will accept. Complete the enquiry form under pricing chart, and upload 2-4 clear photos of your pet, select from the artists who you would like to undertake your commission, you will receive a call to further discuss your needs. FRAMED OR UNFRAMED?
🎨 Mostly, our artists complete their drawings and paintings, seal them with fixative or varnish where appropriate and send them protected in a tube, so that clients can take them to a framer to be custom framed as per their wishes, to fit with their individual home decor (framing suggestions pages here)
🎨 We have framing available to local clients at the art collective studios, so a custom framing option can be added before collection, however, freighting of glass or frames is not advisable due to greatly increased costs/ insurance and risks.
WHAT STYLE DO YOU WANT?
🎨 Classic vignettes and gradient backgrounds are often chosen for pet portrait paintings by most artists, (at portrait pricing averages), however, you can also custom request the toys, blankets, and individual surrounds of your pet as optional extras, (or go with the unique approach of your chosen artist) custom pet portraits quoted according to size, artist detail etc .
