The foremost benefit of custom framing is that the individual choices are all completely up to you! We can simply show you a range of design concepts, moulding shapes and finishes, glass types from regular through to museum, matt//border options and other details. Taking into account your specific situation, several options will be available for you.
Maybe you just moved into a new place and are starting from bare white walls or you possibly just need a fresh update for your current decor. You could even be renting and more inclined to choose a design that is optimal for the art itself, regardless of future decor. Whatever the driving reason, we’re always here to help you with your framing needs.
Another occasion would be when you finally found the perfect piece of art for over your bed, above your sofa or some prints, sports memorabilia or posters that add to some ambience to the playroom or study. There are several things to consider when designing your custom frames to coordinate with your existing space and decor.
Here we will mention a few tips to keep in mind (as you prepare to come to the framing studio) so that your new artwork or special object will fit seamlessly with its surroundings.)
You can allow the furniture and furnishings you have in your room to lead the way with ideas for the frame design. Bedrooms and dining rooms are great places to start with this technique. If you are decorating your bedroom, consider matching your frames with your bedroom features such as bed frames, bedside tables, etc. Frame manufacturers usually keep up with designer decor trends and seasonally introduce new mouldings to select from.
Another room where you can easily match your frames to your furniture or other decor is your dining room. Take a look at your dining room set. You could select neutral colours/ tones that can easily be coordinated such as grey, beige, white, or black. Adding neutral colours to these places will make it easier if you ever want to update your wall colour or decor. Mix and match your wood finishes if that seems an obvious way for you to marry in your new frames.
