Original Art in Professional Office Spaces

🎨 Original paintings for offices, when well chosen, can ultimately contribute to a positive impact on the brand of a professional person or organisation.

🎨 As a deductible asset, art has multiple benefits to the business, including tax deductions.

🎨 For common areas, larger businesses can arrange team bonding & team building art workshops to create their own collaborative artwork, which fosters the team feeling and serves as a memento of the team's united achievements.

What is a dyptich?

An artwork in two parts, meant to be viewed together as a single, unified composition.

How does a dyptich differ from a pair?

A diptych can function as one single piece of art with interconnected meaning. A pair consists of two independent works that happen to share a style, subject, or frame.

As a variation, the artworks pictured here are designed by John Louis Lloyd to hang as a dyptich in either of two different formations, in addition to each working as independent compositions.

More Black and White Artworks into stock recently

We have had some more black and white paintings come into stock recently. Our section on Black & White, Monochromatic and Pastel choices of artwork is a great focused resource for those art lovers who like to keep a restrained palette within their decor plan at home or at the office. There are new additions to original artwork series which fit into this category and there have also been some more artworks chosen to be developed as a limited edition monochromatic giclee reproduction series. Many folks think of monochromatic as the same thing as black and white, however mono means one and chroma means colour, so one colour included amongst varying tones or values (plus or minus black and white - not colours as such), is still considered monochromatic in a painting.

Our Art collective of artists are all trained in the use of specialised materials and combinations of approaches to create outdoor paintings with alternative weather-ready materials. Follow the link to our dedicated category of outdoor artworks. This is not to say that they don't look amazing hanging indoors as well, as the materials and substrates look similar to regular ones, but the actual material structure and approaches utilized are very different, to allow for the harsh UV and other outdoor weather conditions.

Read our article on DIY suites of paintings or 'Salon Hangs'

Have you thought about a unique personalised 'Salon Hang'

WHAT IS A SALON HANG? WHAT ARE THE PROS & CONS? (hint… it's all pros, no cons) In this article, I will outline some ways we can help if you ever need it. This is a great way for art lovers/ collectors who are just starting out, to build a nice cohesive suite or art gradually. 🎨 Historically, the “Salon Style Hang” originated in the 17th Century in Paris for the annual French Royal Academy salon. Back in the day, a “Salon” was arranged to exhibit the best works by art students at the Royal Academy, alongside artworks of masters of the time. You felt pretty spiffy if you were invited to hang!!
